No one chooses the day they're born. But the day a company is incorporated and the day it launches — those actually are chosen, and almost no one does it on purpose. It gets scheduled whenever the lawyer has an opening, whenever the notary is free, whenever the paperwork finally comes together, whenever the website is ready. And that date stays written in the business registry forever — online, in your memory, exactly like a birth date.
I work with the timing of financial decisions; incorporating and launching a company is the most lasting financial decision there is: it isn't reviewed every quarter, it doesn't adjust with the market. It's set once, and the company carries it for its entire life. That's why, when someone is about to incorporate and/or launch, I don't just suggest what belongs in the contract. I suggest when it's best to sign it or launch it. This doesn't mean companies that already exist have no way to adjust their development and growth: sometimes a few strategic moves — new products, a new image, a new physical location, or incorporating a new company under a different name and a new date — combined with openness to change, innovation, and quick adjustments to industry trends, can turn any moment into the start of a better-calculated new stage than the last.
This doesn't replace your lawyer or your accountant: they handle the legal and tax structure, which is where that belongs. What I bring is the layer before that — the one that decides whether this quarter is the one that supports a launch, or the one better reserved for tying up loose ends before opening. I calculate your personal cycles — the ones belonging to whoever is leading, not just the business's own — cross-referenced with the dates you have in mind, to point out which ones best support an opening and which ones would be better to avoid.
And when there are partners involved, the exercise becomes even more important. Two people starting a project together aren't always at the same point in their own timing, and a date that works well for one may not hold up the same way for the other. Seeing that before signing avoids more than one disagreement that later looks like a "personality clash" but was really a matter of timing. That can also be worked out if we look together for the right fit to bring the project into harmony: sometimes it's enough to define each person's role and the areas where each partner would thrive best according to their astrological chart, and an excellent synergy can emerge from there.
This is exactly what I work on in the Strategic Session: ninety minutes live, plus a report covering your current cycles, the numerology of the name and the date, and the fit between the company and the people leading it. If you have an incorporation on the horizon and want to choose the day instead of inheriting it, write to me before booking with the notary and opening your business to the public.
